Desire, from Rwanda
Leadership is one of the topics that our seminars look at. It's a useful topic for believers to learn more about as many graduates find themselves managing others at work or Church. Many Christians wonder if their faith should impact how they lead others. Our training helped Desire, from Rwanda, understand this issue better. He says:
“I have learnt how biblical leadership differs from the ‘hero’ image of leadership which is popular today and has even affected the church. I learnt that servanthood leadership is when God is working in someone’s life to bless him and use him to bless those around him. This approach focuses on equipping people to do the work and the credit goes to God or the shared efforts of the people, not an individual.”
